Collaborative text editor built on CRDTs for seamless real-time editing
About the project
A collaborative text editor built on Conflict-free Replicated Data Types enabling seamless real-time editing across multiple users without conflicts.
The CRDT architecture ensures that all concurrent edits are automatically merged in a mathematically consistent way, eliminating the need for complex conflict resolution.
Real-time synchronization allows multiple users to edit the same document simultaneously with instant updates and presence indicators showing who is editing where.
Built with a focus on collaboration and user experience, providing rich text formatting and styling options similar to modern word processors.
Offline support ensures users can continue editing even without an internet connection, with automatic synchronization when connectivity is restored.
A work in progress exploring the future of collaborative document editing with distributed systems and modern web technologies.
Designed to challenge traditional centralized editing models by leveraging peer-to-peer synchronization principles for a truly collaborative experience.
